Recognizing that most students access educational resources directly through mobile devices, the next crucial phase of the Target100 ecosystem involved developing a dedicated, high-performance Android application.
The primary objective was to provide students with instant, on-the-go access to study materials, MCQs, mock tests, chapter summaries, solved papers, and educational resources directly from their smartphones.
The challenge was to design this application with a strict mobile-first learning philosophy, allowing students to study anytime and anywhere without depending on desktop access, while maintaining fast performance even in regions of Assam with limited internet connectivity.
To achieve this, I engineered a fully native mobile application built primarily with Java and Kotlin, deeply integrated with the central Target100 API architecture.
The app extends the Target100 ecosystem beyond the traditional website, creating a seamless educational experience across all devices. Special focus was placed on UI simplicity, offline accessibility, and aggressive caching to ensure smooth usage and fast load times.
The application features robust student authentication, seamless premium subscription access, dynamic mock test integration, and an intuitive MCQ practice system that tracks student progress locally and syncs it to the cloud.
